MACHINE READABLE FILES (MRFs)

Per the new US Transparency Laws, our users will be able to access Machine Readable Files (MRFs) which disclose the costs of their employer’s in-network and out-of-network medical rates, allowed amounts and billed charges. MRFs are not member friendly files. The user friendly member tool will be the Price Transparency Tool described below.
Coverage of any item or service is subject to the terms, limitations, and conditions of the health plan and network contracts. Always reference the member’s benefits for coverage information and limitations. Rates are subject to change for participant, beneficiary, and enrollee-specific characteristics.

The all new EHS Price Transparency Tool will allow members to access personalized cost-sharing information for health services from any participating provider in their specific health plan’s network. This will help members to be able to make better decisions about healthcare choices as they study their options alongside the EHS team.
Please remember, this is not meant to replace proper utilization of our amazing Member Services Team at EHS - they are here for you to help navigate your plan and options as well. This tool simply allows even more knowledge for members.
